The Curse of the Tails Doll

I knew of the curse, but I was too logical to believe it. Now it has come to haunt me. About three years ago, when I was 16, I received Sonic R as a gift from my boyfriend. With tears in my eyes, I hugged him. Then my brother, Ramir, piped up, “Don’t you know that game is cursed?!” I turned to my boyfriend, worried, but he just threw back his head and laughed.
“That’s just some superstitious oatmeal some punks started on the web!” I laughed too, for although I was an A+ student in school, I believed in fantasies, that kids on the internet didn’t start. As soon as everyone left, I started laying my new game. After 3 races, I was distracted by what Ramir said. I decided to search about the “curse” and found quackerandbowen.com/sonicr.htm (real site people!). It said that after beating the game with 100%, it was possible to bring the evil “Tails Doll” to life. Oh, if only I had believed those stories people sent in, then I might have avoided this horrible fate!
I beat the notoriously short game with 100%, then thought about what the site said. Maybe now was the time to prove the “superstitious oatmeal” was nothing more then that. I went back to the site for details. Then, I learned the information that would seal my fate and leave me doomed…
